You are doing your best

Your best is all you can do…and you’re doing it!

When I realized that at every given moment, everyone is doing the best that they can with the information, skills, energy, experiences, resources, etc. that they have…it changed everything for me!

Self-Compassion comes from loving and accepting yourself for who you are, what you do, and how you feel…no matter what.

That’s what we do for our kids, right? And if we’re always doing the best that we can, isn’t that enough?

When there are things we want to change, we can:

1) Accept and love ourselves first, exactly as we are today.

2) Seek out new knowledge as we continue to evolve. New teachers, friends, skills, habits, etc. will help us reach our goals. 

Hating ourselves will not.

Love yourself right now, while always working towards a better future.
